Urban Landscape Painting with Diana Moran and Richard Tait
Wednesday 7th September 2022
10:00am-1:00pm
Riverstone Kensington, Coe House, 4 Warwick Lane, W14 8FN
On Wednesday 7th September, Diana Moran BEM will be joining our Community Manager Richard Tait as they introduce guests to urban landscape painting with acrylics on canvas. Diana Moran introduced the UK to fitness in the 80s and is best known as the Green Goddess. As a broadcaster, author and fitness expert she is a regular commentator on TV and Radio and was recently brought back to our screens by the BBC to provide help and advice to remain healthy at home. Subsequently, in the following years, as and when her work allowed, she regularly attended Evening Art Classes. Diana thoroughly enjoyed the experience and viewed painting as part of her hobby and relaxation. Richard Tait is an accomplished artist, having taught painting in up to 30 schools and ran an art camp in Bermuda for many years. He was also involved in City Livery Company life as well as being the Deputy Chair of The Painters Decorative Fine Art Society. The process of urban landscaped painting will be broken down and explored with the use of sponges, brushes and cardboard to create images. Advice on preparation, canvas stretching and composition will be given beforehand.
The workshop is aimed at all levels. Spaces are now reserved and we look forward to welcoming our guests.
